Francia Raisa

Raisa began to take acting jobs in her sophomore year of high school. She started modelling for ads in the print media and appearing in commercials. She guest-starred in the sitcoms American Family: Journey of Dreams and Over There. In 2004 Raisa played Tamy Lil"Romo" in "My Girlfriend" as well as for the Iyaz's "So Huge" music video. She booked her first leading part a month before starting her final year of high school. In Bring It On, All or Nothing, Raisa starred alongside Hayden Pannettiere. She co-starred in the Nickelodeon movie Shredderman Rules, where she portrayed Isabel, and in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice as Alexandra Delgado. The role she played was Adrian Lee in the hit ABC Family drama, The Secret Life of the American Teenager that ran from the time it premiered in July of 2008 through its finale in June the year 2013. In 2009, Raisa was guest on the US Network's In Plain Sight. She also co-starred with David Henrie in Boo an animated short which was broadcast by YouTube. Raisa was as a character in Christmas Bounty, a movie that was based on Christmas. She starred alongside Mike "The Miz", Mizanin. Raisa was in August of 2012. Between the years of 2018 and 2022, Raisa was a part of the show Grownish on Freeform which was a series produced by the Blackish's creator Kenya Barris. She was a part of the show for its first four years before leaving her role after the conclusion of season 4. The year before, she played as Tyra on Freeform's TV film Life-Size 2. The film premiered in May 2021. Raisa was cast as a character in The How I Met Your Mother's spinoff series How I Met Your Father and it was launched on Hulu on the 18th of January in 2022.
