Amanda Brugel

Tessa Tessa Amanda AmandaPointe Claire, a quiet area in The West Island of Montreal is located in Montreal and is home to many small-scale businesses. For those who don't know, the name often think that it's a separate island somewhere west of Montreal However, it's a part of the city that's west. West Island is home to every aspect of the city of Lachine west. Amanda Brugel was born there and that's the truth. But she only spent a short period of time there. Brugel grew in Courtice just outside Oshawa. She wanted to become an instructor in her first year but because of the speed of growth, she outgrew all of the dancers she had. In an article in The Toronto Star she admitted, "In heels, I'm 6 feet 1 inch. Once I had outgrown my male counterparts, I stopped. Former dancers often turn into acting. In Bruce's case, it was the encouragement of an instructor in drama at her high school that pushed her in the direction she needed. The teacher who suggested she go after a role in the school's annual production. The teacher suggested she audition for a character in the annual school production. The result was that she was given the role of Anne of Green Gables. The Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theater Program that she attended until 2000 with a bachelor's of art degree in fine arts.
